SWL ou des écouteurs que nous ayons ou pas un numéro d'écoute ou un
indicatif.

A cette occasion, RadioAmateurs France, à décidé de proposer que,
sur simple demande, nous pourrons vous attribuer (gratuitement), comme

ARISS CONTACT PLANNED WITH TWO ITALIAN SCHOOLS

Thursday 5 February 2015 at 10.37 UTC,  which is 11.37 CEWT, ESA astronaut Samantha Cristoforetti IZ0UDF will answer questions from students of two Italian schools:

Scuola Media Locatelli-Oriani, Milano, Italy and Scuola Secondaria di Primo Grado “Bachelet”, Cernusco sul naviglio, Italy.

The radio communication with the International Space Station will be established by ARISS ground station W6SRJ, located in California.

The event will be webcast on http://www.livestream.com/amsat_italia

SSTV TRANSMISSION FROM INTERNATIONAL SPACE STATION les 31/01 et 1/02

THIS WEEKEND: SSTV TRANSMISSION FROM INTERNATIONAL SPACE STATION

Continuous SSTV transmission is planned from Saturday 31 January at 10.00 UTC till Sunday 1 February 21.30 UTC.

 It is expected that 12 different photos will be sent on 145.800 MHz FM, using the SSTV mode PD180, with 3 minutes off periods between transmissions.

The equipment used will be the Kenwood D710 transceiver located in the Russian Service Module.

The Trident Amateur Radio Club (Tom Lufkin) is hosting this launch for students at the Palmetto Scholars Academy (Kel lye Voigt). The students have designed sophisticated experiments involving a variety of metals. The experiments are managed in flight by an Arduino microcontroller programmed by the students. The Arduino samples each metal and logs conductivity, temperature and pressure throughout the flight.

Le Véhicule expérimental intermédiaire (IXV) de l’ESA est prêt à être lancé le 11 février prochain à 13h00 TU (14h00 heure de Paris) en vue d’effectuer sa mission de rentrée. Il sera placé au sommet d’un lanceur Vega qui décollera du port spatial de l’Europe à Kourou (Guyane française). Les représentants des médias sont invités à suivre ce lancement en ligne ou à participer à divers événements organisés en Italie, en Allemagne ou en Espagne.

Saturday January 31, 2015 at 8.38.59 UTC, which is 9.39 CEWT, ESA astronaut Samantha Cristoforetti IZ0UDF will answer questions from students of two Italian schools:

Istituto Salesiano “G. Bearzi”, Udine and Intercultura Onlus, Milano, Italy.

The radio communication with the International Space Station will be established by ARISS ground station K6DUE, located in Maryland, USA.

SSTV transmissions from the International Space Station

The Russian ARISS team  plan to activate SSTV from the ISS on Saturday January 31 and on Sunday February 1, 2015.

Expected SSTV mode will be PD180 on 145.800 MHz with 3 minute off periods between transmissions. A total of 12 different photos will be sent during the operational period. This is the second series of pictures to be transmitted.

Start time would be around 10.00 UTC on January 31 and 9.00 UTC on February 1. The transmissions should terminate around 21:30 UTC each day.

WONDERFUL TELEVISION REPORT ABOUT  ARISS, PRODUCED BY ITALIAN RAI-3 TV CHANNEL

The ARISS contact performed Friday January 9, 2015 with three Italian schools was reported extensively by the "Spaziolibero" television program, sponsored by the Italian parliament.

Emanuele D’Andria I0ELE, President AMSAT Italia, Francesco De Paolis IK0WGF, secretary AMSAT Italia and Piero Tognolatti I0KPT did an outstanding job presenting ARISS and Amateur Radio to the general public.
