SSTV TRANSMISSION FROM INTERNATIONAL SPACE STATION les 31/01 et 1/02
THIS WEEKEND: SSTV TRANSMISSION FROM INTERNATIONAL SPACE STATION
photo ESAContinuous SSTV transmission is planned from Saturday 31 January at 10.00 UTC till Sunday 1 February 21.30 UTC.
It is expected that 12 different photos will be sent on 145.800 MHz FM, using the SSTV mode PD180, with 3 minutes off periods between transmissions.
The equipment used will be the Kenwood D710 transceiver located in the Russian Service Module.

The Trident Amateur Radio Club (Tom Lufkin) is hosting this launch for students at the Palmetto Scholars Academy (Kel lye Voigt). The students have designed sophisticated experiments involving a variety of metals. The experiments are managed in flight by an Arduino microcontroller programmed by the students. The ARISS contact performed Friday January 9, 2015 with three Italian schools was reported extensively by the "Spaziolibero" television program, sponsored by the Italian parliament.
Emanuele D’Andria I0ELE, President AMSAT Italia, Francesco De Paolis IK0WGF, secretary AMSAT Italia and Piero Tognolatti I0KPT did an outstanding job presenting ARISS and Amateur Radio to the general public.
